Marand CEO to speak in Athens

The Hellenic Ministry of Health is hosting the Development and Management of Patient Registries Data event which will take part on Friday 11 January in the National School of Public Health in Athens, Greece. The main topics at the event will be health registry systems, real-world evidence and decision-making in health, and the current situation with patient registries in Greece.
In the Amphitheatre hall at 12.15 local time, Gornik, who is also Co-chair of the openEHR Foundation, will give a presentation entitled Clinical Data Modelling and Governance, Best Practices from Norway, Slovenia and the UK. He will speak about the openEHR concept, vendor-independent data, separation of content and technology, and open domain-driven platforms for developing flexible e-health systems.
The use cases to be presented include the 100.000 genomes project in the UK, the openEHR adoption in the Norwegian public hospital system, and the Slovenian interoperability backbone – the national infrastructure for exchanging and storing clinical documents and structured health data.
