Marand will present at Application Implementation and Design HL7 "User Group" out-of-cycle meeting to be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014.
The scope of the meeting is the use of HL7/IHE/DICOM/OpenEHR/terminology and other healthIT standards, and the exchange of best practices and architectures related to the implementation of these standards in software applications.
Marand CTO Borut Fabjan and Think!EHR Platform Lead Architect Bostjan Lah will present "Using an OpenEHR platform in a HL7/IHE interoperability environment”.
“We are looking forward to discussing how we can bring the HL7/IHE and openEHR worlds closer together. This has been our goal from the beginning as each approach clearly has it’s merits. Our presentation will describe and demonstrate how we added a FHIR API layer to Think!EHR Platform” said Bostjan Lah, Think!EHR Platform Lead Architect.

The Application Implementation and Design HL7 "User Group" (formerly known as RIMBAA, part of the FTSD) (http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=AID) facilitates the adoption and software implementation of HL7 standards. The focus of the WG lies particularly on the use of Healthcare Standards based processable models (e.g. the version 3 RIM, FHIR and CDA) for application design and the storage of data, and to a lesser degree on the exchange and use of the data.
Think!EHR Platform™ (www.marand.com) is a health data platform designed for real-time, transactional health data storage, query, retrieve and exchange based on vendor-neutral open data standards including openEHR (www.openehr.org)
