Medinfo, China - August 2017 |
This event was well represented and every day had an openEHR workshop or presentation. Much was captured by video and detail to be made available shortly. People at the event were saying that openEHR was the most active group and workshops were well attended. The Chinese are very keen and serious about using and implementing openEHR and this presents a real opportunity. For more general information about the event see https://openehr.atlassian.net/wiki/display/resources/MEDINFO2017 |
India |
Following initial interest and further discussions in adopting openEHR as part of its national standards strategy, this still needs to be progressed and is ongoing. |
NHS & openEHR event, Salford Manchester September 2017 |
Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with Marand, hosted this sold-out event around interoperability and exploring the opportunities and challenges of openEHR. Delegates heard from speakers from the UK, Slovenia and Russia, with speakers giving an introduction to openEHR for novices, talking about their experiences with the platform, its implementation, scale of opportunity, and vision for its capabilities to facilitate interoperability in health IT. The event also included training courses for developers, clinical informaticians and software designers on openEHR implementation. Due to a number of people not being able to attend this event, a similar event is being held on 22nd November in London |
